LIBRARY NEWS

The library has been buzzing over the last couple of weeks with the introduction of 'Lego Masters 2023'. We have been lucky with the amount of Lego which was donated to the school and which all the students have been able to use.  I am delighted with the number of students that joined the competition and how amazing their builds were.  Each group put so much thought in their design from including a glass garden house, using their knowledge on 'Clean up Australia Day,' adding electric cars and putting in a windmill.

I would like to thank my amazing Library and Environmental Leaders who gave up their time to help support the competition.  We would like to congratulate the winners:

  • Junior school - Oliver N and Lachie G
  • Middle School - Gemma C and Mackenzie D
  • Senior School - Arabella S and Alannah H

We are looking forward to a new Lego Masters for the students to take part in early in Term 3.  We can’t wait.  The theme will be announced in coming weeks.

Scholastic Book Club is due back at school on Monday the 12th of June.  With each book purchased from Scholastic, 15% of the sale comes back to our school,  enabling us to buy new books for the school and keeping our library an exciting place for our students to attend.

Thank you to those who support us with this.
