WHAT A YEAR!

What an amazing year 2020 has been. “COVID-19” threw all sorts of challenges at us.  At the height of it, things were changing on a daily basis, sometimes even hourly.  This posed many challenges, but as we know, eventually tough times usually brings out the best in people.

It was very enlightening to see students and staff accept what was thrown at them and then see them all adapt and get on with it.

Parental support during this time was also a massive contributing factor in everyone coming out the other side as far stronger individuals, having all endured the uncertainty and worry associated with the whole pandemic.

Students Departed the College

It was more a marathon than a sprint, but we eventually saw the Year 12 group graduate from the College.

Then the Year 11s left for the year, many having secured temporary work over the holiday period.  Others have secured full time employment through either traineeships or apprenticeships. We wish them all the very best for their futures and hope they all stay in touch, as we love to hear how they are getting on out in the big, wide world.

Festive Season

We would like to wish all students and their families a wonderful, safe and happy break and very much look forward to seeing everyone back in 2021.

To the staff who make this place operate so well, including the catering and cleaning area, may you too have a wonderful and restful break. Enjoy your well-deserved time off and we look forward to seeing you back in the new year.

To the Residential staff, a massive thank you for your efforts as individuals and as a team.  This certainly assisted both students and parents alike to survive boarding during these tough times. I wish you all a fabulous break, stay safe and we will see you all back for 2021.

Thank you.
