The final wrap for the year – and what a year it has been!
The College, staff and students have grown and developed from all of the events of this year. We have certainly all had to be flexible, adaptable and look at things from a different perspective when solving problems and facing the challenges that arose throughout the year.
I am very proud and honoured to be associated with the College and the manner in which we worked together to provide the best opportunity for the students this year.
Year 10 Work Experience
Last week our Year 10 students completed their compulsory week of work experience. The feedback from the staff who visited the students whilst on work experience was very positive.
There are a number of students who elected to continue on with the same placement or chosen a second host to undertake work experience with this week. Congratulations on your commitment, you will certainly reap the rewards from this time in the coming years.
Timetable
The final stages of the timetable were completed this week with a few changes taking place to ensure it addresses the needs of the students and provides the greatest opportunities. Students will receive their individual timetable at the commencement of next year.
Thankyou
As the school year draws to a close, I would like to say a sincere thank you to all the staff across the College for their efforts and for remaining so positive under these extenuating circumstances.
To the students, a final farewell to those who are departing the College and to those who are returning along with the new enrolments I look forward to seeing you all next year.
I wish everyone a safe and happy festive season. Enjoy the time with family and friends, take care and look after each other.
All the best – Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
