VMG Drama - 20 Reasons Not to be in a Play

The VMG DRAMA Students are REFUSING to put on a play!

If you attend the Visy Theatrette on Tuesday November 20th at 7pm, you probably won’t see much…

But if the class can be bothered (and let’s face it… they probably won’t) they just might convince you there are '20 Reasons Not to be in a Play'.

(Your gold coin donation will go towards a production in the future… by another class… who actually care!)

VMG DANCE SHOWCASE

On Monday 12th November we held our VMG Dance Showcase at Westside PAC in Mooroopna. The theme was “Events that changed the world” and featured some very moving and emotive work including a piece about 9/11 by the seniors and other world issues by the junior class. What an amazing night it was with 40 enthusiastic dancers performing a variety of pieces ranging from solos, duets, small group compositions and class works to a wide selection of music genres. We also featured work from our Melbourne Workshop at Transit Dance and included the Arts Week Performance. It was incredible to see it all come together with the use of this venue, relevant and eye catching costumes, projected imagery, sound effects and 40 dancers on the stage! We were also joined by our own WPSC String Ensemble which was a wonderful collaboration. Congratulations to all involved for an amazing effort and a spectacular evening. A few encouragement awards were given to the following recipients - Harry Watson, Macey Cox, Maddison Ryan, Eby Young and Zoe Malcolm. Well done!
