CELEBRATING OUR FAITH

Upcoming Liturgies

Parents and grandparents are invited to join our Primary department for our mass to celebrate Year 6 reaching the end of their Primary school journey. It will be held at Sacred Heart Church next Wednesday 21 November at 9.15am.

While there is no liturgy this week, the remainder of the school year will have a number of liturgical celebrations. Kindergarten will be leading the prayers for an Infant's Prayer Celebration on Friday 30 November. Our Year 10 Graduation Mass will take place Friday 7 December, and our final Thanksgiving mass will be held for our whole school in the hall on Friday 14 December.

Year of Youth Cross Visit

All students K-10 spent some time with the Year of Youth Cross last week.

Teachers led their class through prayer, explanation, meditation and reflecting activities. The impressive carvings were much admired, as was  the beautiful scene when the room was darkened, and the intricate light patterns were displayed.

The cross provided a good opportunity for staff and students to come to grips with the idea of the Year of Youth, and think about how each one of us is called toward 'new horizons', spreading joy as we go. It was great to be part of this shared endeavour across the diocese.

Prayer Celebrations this week

There will be no Reconciliation this week as Fr Roel and Fr Thaddeus are on their annual diocesan retreat.

Our assembly prayers will be led by KLC in the Infants, 5/6G in the Primary, and 8M in the Secondary.
