Excursions

Payment is now due for the Primary excursions to Sydney, Lake Keepit, Thalgarrah and Copeton Dam as well as Year 10 to Copeton Dam. Please contact me if you are having difficulty with payment.

Language being used

Unfortunately, last week we had a number of incidents where sexualised language was used at school across a number of grades. This language, verbal or written, is not acceptable at our school. Please discuss appropriate language use with your child and encourage them to report any language that is inappropriate.

2019 Planning

Thank you to those families who have let us know that their children are not returning to Holy Trinity School next year. This helps us with our planning.

Last week we held interviews for our primary classroom teacher positions. Our K-6 staff will be made up of: Angela de Gunst, Emma Starkie, Madeline McLeod, Cathy Doyle, Rob Ditchfield, Tania Moore, Laurelle Wales, Emily Adams, Mary-Jane Guest, Terri-Lea Selig, Madeline Gartshore, Mary ann Wilson, Peter Baz, Toni Palmer, Aimee Gaias, Renee Stewart. RFF staff will be Claudia Dolbel and Veronica McCormick,

Reports

Staff are beginning to write Semester 2 reports. We are trialling  a new format in Year 7-10 this reporting period. Teachers are writing a longer pastoral care comment to indicate student involvement in school life and study habits. Individual subject information will be continue to include approaches to learning, areas of learning and overall achievement. We will be seeking parental feedback early next year on the altered report format.
