JSC update

The JSC is back in full swing.  Celebrating art, culture and promoting social justice issues. What a great bunch!

Last week we celebrated NAIDOC week with a great day of arts and crafts celebrating the oldest living culture in the world. This Friday students will be teaching others about appreciating animals and explaining why animals might become endangered. Students are also busily preparing for the annual Variety show that we will have on the oval in the first week of December. 

What an exciting way to finish up an unusual year.

In maths this term, we have been investigating time. We have looked at times on the clock, how to read a timetable and looking at calendars. 

Today, our challenge was to find out how many days we've been alive for! We had to factor in leap years and when our birthday was this year.

It was nice and tricky!
