Hampstead Book Café

Last Thursday Rooms 13 and 14 transformed their classroom into the Hampstead Book Café.

 Whilst at the café, they needed to review some books by looking at the front cover, blurb, illustrations and the first few pages. Then they gave the book a star rating out of 5. 

The students found the process extremely useful as they too have been creating books during our book making unit in writing. 

"It was really good to see what authors do to make their books so great, I loved getting some new ideas for my books" said Nihaal. 

Their favourite part was being waited on by their teachers who served them juice and cookies while they reviewed their books.
