Students in Years 4 - 11 will be participating in the 2020 Student Attitudes to School Survey which will take place next week (Week 6).
Save the date - Book Week Celebrations are coming!
This year Book Week celebrations will be held during the week of Monday November 23 to Thursday November 26. Book Week will coincide with the College Book Fair.
Due to Covid both have been delayed and unfortunately we are not able to welcome the College community on-site.
On Thursday November 26 the students will be invited to dress up as their favourite Book Character. Primary students will be involved in activities around the shortlisted books nominated for Book of the Year 2020. The Book Week theme for this year is ‘Curious Creatures, Wild Minds’.
Students will be given the opportunity to enter a colouring competition around this theme. Masks will also be decorated by students during class time and can be worn on the Thursday if they would like to use them as part of their dress up costume. Prizes will be awarded to students for winning entries in the colouring competition, and to students that show great creative skills in decorating their masks.
Book Fair
The College is holding a Book Fair to coincide with Book Week this year. Unfortunately, we are not able to invite the College Community to view the books due to regulations around COVID.
Students will be given the opportunity to look at the books on display and write a ‘wish list’. If you or your child decide to purchase any of the books or items available you can either go online and place your order and make your payment, or students can bring money to the Fair and collect the items. If ordering online please return the attached form with the titles listed and the payment details. Books will be displayed in the College Centre this year.
Book Fair dates: Monday 23rd November to Thursday 26th November
Shopping hours: Library Class lesson time, Before School, Lunch breaks.
We look forward to seeing your children at our Book Fair! Remember, all purchases benefit our school.
