Career & VET Report

VET in Schools

There are still some places available for the 2021 VET in Schools program. Students in Years 9 and 10 who are still considering options should check with me. VET courses provide an introduction to a range of career pathways from Apprenticeships through to TAFE Courses and direct employment. Please open the link which provides a summary of all costs and levels attained. VCE students can study some VET subjects in Year 11 with some of these contributing to the VCE ATAR.

My Career Insights

This program is a new program for all Year 9 students in government secondary schools. It is designed for students to learn about what skills and abilities they could bring to a future job.

They can find about what jobs match their abilities, interests and personality and the subjects they need for those jobs.

The program will involve students answering on line questions and quizzes. The results will be presented in a report called the Morrisby Profile.

All students have been given information sheets and permission slips. These slips need to be returned in the next few days.
