Year 3&4 Chatter!

Yay! Its finally back to school after a nice relaxing summer break. We have done all about me activities e.g. all about me sphere and math about me. In literacy, we have enjoyed writing about the Small Mean Elf/Fairy using the 7 Steps to Writing Success. We used our teamwork skills to build paper towers and we played ‘Cross the river’ which we had to do lots of communicating..

Specialists have been so much fun. In PE, we pushed ourselves in the beep test, which was exhausting! We are learning how to play Dance Monkey on the keyboard, recorder and the ukulele in performing Arts.

In Indonesian we have playing games to learn about body parts and in Art Mrs Bosomworth has been very impressed with our contour line drawings of our self- portraits.

Our Integrated Topic is titled Marvelous Melbourne where we will be learning about the history of Melbourne and its celebrations. 

On Fridays this term, we have sport rotations and will be playing cricket, dodge ball, smash & dash, Golden Child (basketball type game) and an invasion game called Raid the Nest.
