Captains Corner

Introducing our School Leaders...

As School Captains we were happy to hear that we have successfully chosen our new leaders for this year.

So, what do they do?

JSC: 

Lily D, Ashleigh B, Isabelle K, Amos R, Abbie M, Sienna B-C, Arwen H,

Lili R-F, Jasmine D, Tara L

Our JSC members will be busy representing the students of great ryrie, and enabling more student voice. (we’re not getting a new school swimming pool)

House Captains:

Kiah S, Deci C, Matilda S, Van Te, Tyler L, Stephen S, Ben K, Roland C

Our house captains will be housing house competitions and collecting house points. At the end of the term the house with the most points will receive a great reward.

Sport Captains:

Angus D, James P, Hayley M, Bridie N

The Sport Captains will be helping Ms Beddome with sport events such as athletics day and cross country and making our PE lessons even more fun!

Performing Arts Captains: 

Macsen R, Eden W, Juliette H, Miller J

Our performing arts captains will be busy helping Mrs Murray and Miss Syme organise our fete performance along with the Christmas Concert.

Visual Art Captains:

Ellie W & Hser Klen

The Visual Art Captains will be helping out in the art room and setting up more exciting projects and clubs.

Indonesian Captains:

Tanvi S & Chloe C

Our Indonesian Captains are excited to learn more about Indonesian culture, also teaching our younger year levels it too. They will also be attending the yearly Indonesian Culture Day at Heathmont Secondary College.

Environmental Captains:

Bavneet M & Jyan G

Will be putting more ideas forward to create more of a sustainable community and school and create this influence on the students.

STEM Captains:

Kaden L & Tanvi S

The STEM Captains will be helping out with the technology at this school and help our school have a greater focus on science this year.
