The College has begun a new lunchtime program for students in Year 12 to attend. The purpose of this programme is to start conversations on topics that are pertinent to this age group – to be held in the CLC each Thursday at lunchtime. The Well-Being team have already had such chats with our Year 12 students and found an urgent need to engage them in discussion on various topics that the students have suggested. The range extends from the basic needs of dealing with Stress and Anxiety to even more difficult topics such as Consent, Relationships and even Catholic identity in today’s society. The more difficult topics will be run by Director of Faith and Mission, John Rhynehart and Deputy Principal of Student Wellbeing, Greg Van Es.

Our sincere wish is to create a safe space for our young students to have relevant and meaningful conversations. Perhaps we can all help in making their transition into the real world a little smoother.
