Subject Selection for 2023

Term 3 is always a very busy term.  This weekend is the final opportunity for students to enter their subject selections.  Students have been following up and meeting regularly with their Learning Mentors to discuss subject selection.

Many students have also had follow up meetings this week to check about acceleration, pre-requisites and ensuring that they have made the right choices for their 2023 year level.

A reminder that subject selection will close at 3 pm on Monday 8 August.  At this stage, we will begin to review class numbers and make decisions about what subjects will be timetabled in 2023.  It is crucial that students are timely so that their choices are included in class numbers.

We will once again have Step-Up in 2022, with our new timetable set to begin in November this year.

Genevieve Robertson Junior STEM Building

We are excited that classes will be entering our new building from the beginning of next week.  To begin with, year 7 and 8 classes in SCIMAT, PBL and STEP will be the most frequently timetabled classes within the new building.  Columba staff and Homerooms will also be making their way into the new building.  We look forward to sharing some photos which will showcase the students undertaking learning activities in the new spaces in future editions of the newsletter.
