Hello everyone!

2022 DET Parent/Guardian/Caregiver survey.

Thank you to those families who have already responded to the survey. If you haven't completed the survey yet, please find some time to do so. Your feedback is important to us and helps to inform our school improvement work. I emailed the information to all families on Monday 15 August. 

OSHC.

From the start of Term 4, the YMCA will be running our Outside of School Hours service. We are looking forward to welcoming the YMCA to our school. If you are currently registered to attend our OSHC, you will be notified about enrolling with the YMCA. We are also working with the YMCA to be able to offer Before School Care next year, so keep an eye out for that information next term.

 Thank you to Camp Australia for running our service since 2019.

Late arrival/early pick up of students.

If your child is arriving after the bell in the morning they must come to the office for a late pass. I have noticed some families dropping students at the Nettle Street entrance and students heading straight to their class. Please remind them to check in at the office first.

Early collection from school is permitted when your child has an appointment that could not be made outside of school hours. If you need to collect your child early please come to the office so we can record their early pick up on Sentral. Both these processes are important procedures linked to our emergency plan as it means that we know who is on site.

Breakfast Club.

Our students are very lucky, not only do we have staff who are willing to arrive at school early but we also have community members who help to set up, cook, serve and then clean up. Breakfast Club runs on a Wednesday morning in the multi-purpose room from 8:00am- 8:30am. Please do not drop your children here before 8am for Breakfast Club.

Book Week dress up day Friday 26 August.
