Chicago  - What a success!

Taylors Lakes Secondary College proudly presented its latest productions  to sold out performances over 3 nights -  Wednesday 7th September, Thursday 8th September and Friday 9th September 2022.

‘Chicago', the 2022 College Production, has seen students in Years 7-12 unite under the guidance of GJ Productions to produce a sensational show that is sure to captivate audiences. 

Students have been extraordinarily committed to the show, rehearsing diligently for the better part of this year, to bring together the magic you will no doubt witness during this live performance.  I cannot emphasise enough how proud I am of the students who have once again participated in our College production after a few years of disruptions, restrictions and virtual performances. 

Thank you to the cast for remaining resolute and committed to this show. They showed up, week-in, week-out, sometimes online, uniting together and going from strength-to-strength as a unified team. They have worked tirelessly and overcome roadblocks with grace, and I know that they are proud to unveil their hard work to their families, friends and the broader College community. 

I would also like to thank and congratulate GJ Productions on their phenomenal efforts in bringing the show to life. Grace and Jack have once again been professional, organised and enthusiastic, and the passion they have for Drama and the College Production has been infectious – our students can’t help but emulate their exuberance! We feel very lucky to be able to work with such a passionate, capable and talented team. 

Thank you for repeatedly revising actions and processes for coming up with contingency, and for remaining unwavering in your belief that our students could make this come to life after the continued disruptions we have dealt with across the year. Your fierce determination to get this show off the ground for our students is commendable, and for that, we cannot thank you enough.

A big thank you to Ms Burlak and all other staff who assisted with the production and worked behind the scenes.
