Year 10 Visual Communication Design

The Year 10 Visual Communication Design class attended the Street Urban Art City Tour. This was a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate how prevalent street art is and how it is utilised to express one's self, stand up for morals and beliefs, and communicate contemporary topics and issues, especially through protest. 

It's amazing how the presence of street art can convert a city full of dull buildings into one that is vibrant and bright with the use of design elements and principles which we learned and applied in class. I now have a deeper understanding of street art and how it enables individuals to share their thoughts and experiences with the wider community.
