Melbourne Youth Orchestras Summer School
APPLICATIONS CLOSING 5PM TODAY
It's your last chance to enrol for the 2023 MYO Summer School.
Applications will close 5pm today, Friday 2 September. Join the other 700+ young musicians who have already enrolled to be part of the biggest Summer School in history!
Taking place at the University of Melbourne, ensembles at Summer School include symphony orchestras, string orchestras, symphonic bands, jazz orchestra and jazz improvisation for young musicians aged 7- 25.
The 2023 Summer School will involve learning from some of Victoria's best educators and conductors to develop musicianship, technique and knowledge of ensemble playing. With over 700 students already enrolled for Summer School, it's a guaranteed a week of fun, inspiration and learning.
You won't want to miss this.

Junior Futsal (Indoor Soccer) Program
Ashburton United Soccer Club are once again running their junior Futsal competition for boys and girls at Ashburton Rec Centre with options for teams:
- Friday night (U12 - U16)
- Saturday 8.15 - 12pm (U07 - U10)
- Sunday 8.15am - 2pm (U07 - U16)
Competition will have boys and girls leagues. Players are welcome to form their own teams (max. 7 players) or enter as individuals.

Lions Club of Ashwood-Mount Waverley
The Lions Club of Ashwood-Mount Waverley works with youth and the community to provide support and promote good citizenship.
Lions is an international organisation.
- We work with schools in our area through the Youth of the Year competition and Community Service Awards. We also provide holidays at the Licola Wilderness Village for deserving junior students.
- We raise funds through Bunnings sausage sizzles and other local activities. 100% of funds raised from the public are returned through support provided.
- Our fund raising, support and social activities provide a very friendly level of social interaction and fellowship.
