District Basketball

Three of the Mulgrave District schools, Mount Waverley PS, Mount View PS and Essex Heights PS met at Nunawading Basketball Centre on Tuesday 30 August to battle it out on court over the course of the day. The teams were all mixed and our coaches worked closely with the kids to help them create a cohesive team and enjoyable day.

To our parent volunteers Kim Bristowe, Rif Ahmet and Darren Smith, a HUGE thank you from the EHPS kids and staff. Our school value ethos was evident on the day, the players listened closely to the Coaches and referees to ensure they could get the best out of each other and the day.

Senior basketball (Years 5 and 6) will be on Wednesday 7 September at Nunawading Basketball Centre.

District Athletics

On Wednesday 31 August we travelled to Knox Athletics Track for the Mulgrave District Athletics day. The Essex Athletics squad competed against five other schools within our school's District. After many years of lockdowns, it was wonderful to see the kids enjoy the healthy competition the District events host.
