Year 3/4 Football Gala Day
Well done to all the children in Year 3/4 who participated in the Football Gala Day last Friday. It was great to hear that everyone enjoyed themselves. A big thank you to our students who umpired on the day - Jai Barrow, Nate Parker, Seb Cooknell, Max Robertson, Jarryn Baker, Archie Martin, Charlie Gardiner, Jonah D’Amore, Fred Melville and Reuben Duncan. All the schools expressed their gratitude for the umpires and said that they were all “fantastic”.
Year 5/6 Girls Football Lightning Premiership
This Friday 29th July, Sacred Heart girls from Year 5/6 will be participate in the Girls Football Lightning Premiership. This will take place at the Colac Central Reserve. The bus will leave Sacred Heart at 11.05am and return at approximately 2.15pm. Girls need to wear their sports uniform to school and bring along the appropriate football gear. Football jumpers will be supplied on the day. Due to the forecasted weather for the week, girls may need a raincoat, towel and extra clothes for warmth. Girls involved will need to bring their lunch, snacks, water bottles etc (they will not be able to order a lunch order).

Schools Netball Championships 2022
On Tuesday 9th August our two netball teams from Year 6 (boys and girls) will travel to Melbourne to play in the Schools Netball Championships 2022 at the State Netball Centre in Parkville. The bus will leave Sacred Heart gym carpark at 6.45am and return at approximately 5.30 pm.
Training for both teams will take place tomorrow (Wednesday 27th July), so players will need to wear their sport uniform.
Winter Sport
On Friday 5th August, children from Year 5/6 who would like to compete against Elliminyt Primary School in the Winter Sports Program will walk to Elliminyt to participate in the following sports - Football, Netball, Newcombe, Soccer and Gaga. This will take place between recess and lunch time.
Interested children will be sent a permission form in the coming days via PAM for parents/carers to complete.
