Stewards of Creation

This term, we have been learning about being Stewards of Creation launching off with our excursion to CERES. We have been using the Creation story from the Bible to learn more about the original Stewards of Creation - Adam and Eve. We have been making connections between this story and Aboriginal culture and their use of totems to make connections to our responsibilities as Stewards of Creation.

Students share what we have learnt about being Stewards of Creation

Archie N. JLA1 - God created humans and animals.

Jessica F. JLA1 - God created trees, plants and sea.

Lily C. JLA1 - God created flowers and birds.

Lachlan K. JLA2 - There was snake in the story, I thought it was going to be a bear.

Thomas C. JLA2 - God made the world.

Mikayla D. JLA2 - God made the chickens.

Roman B. JLA3 - God created the Sun.

Leo S. JLA3 - God created the land.

Sienna B. JLA3 - God created the Earth.

We have been using our new knowledge to reuse natural resources and work collaboratively and creatively to create art pieces reflecting each day of the Creation story. We think they look pretty great!
