Division Cross Country
After a postponed event due to freezing cold and rainy weather, our six Cross Country runners competed at the Division level race at Bundoora Park on Thursday 6th June 2022.
We are so proud of the feedback we received back on the way that Reuben A, Olivia V, Joseph B, Emily M, Hari P and Levi B conducted themselves while representing our school, but also of course how much effort they put into their respective races yesterday. Well done boys and girls, you should be mighty proud of yourself as we are of you!
Track Conditions: Very hill, very boggy and muddy
Weather: Cold, windy and overcast
Results and thoughts on the race:
“I was quite cold starting my race but I think the positive nerves and running as hard as I could soon warmed me up. I was very pleased with my race: quiet a hard race to run, but very fun at the same time” – Olivia V.
Reuben and Olivia placed second and fourth respectively in each of their races, and have qualified to go to the Regional meet on Wednesday next week. Congratulations Reuben and Olivia, we wish you all the very best for their races!
Prep and JLA Ball Handling Activity / Homework
Well done to those students in Prep to Year 2 who have done some of the homework activity set in Phys Ed earlier this term.
Huge Congratulations to Alexia, Archie (JLA1), Samuel (JLA2), Marley and Zoi (JLA3) who completed their homework and earned themselves a reward!
