WOW Activities

Our WOW activities have continued to be a hit with last week's community leaders running a fabulous role play activity. All students were grouped and asked to give a prompt word for the play. The prompt words were all placed in an online spinning wheel. The chosen topic was “forest”. The role plays were diverse and fun. We all left the library with big smiles, having had lots of fun.

Please encourage your students to get involved in the WOW activities as it is a great way to make new connections and meet other students from across the school. This weeks WOW activities included:

WOW Awards

During week 4, I met with the SRC’s across all year levels. During this meeting we discussed a new format for our St James Awards. The SRC voted on the “WOW” Awards. Each week students who display the chosen “school expectation” as voted by the SRC will receive an award on Friday after recess. Last week awards were given for “Manners Matter” to the students who displayed exemplary manners. This week the SRC have chosen “treat all property with care” as their focus.
