The Arts

Prep and Grade 1/2 students have been creating artwork which reflects identity, shares and expresses ideas and feelings. Prep students created pictures about their lives and interests, whilst 1/2 students are continuing to construct ‘Me Mobiles’.

In 3/4, students have completed our hieroglyph cartouche drawings. Can you translate the names on display around school using this code breaker? We have moved onto exploring Egyptian Deities which played an integral part in Ancient Egyptian life, beliefs, identity, culture and........ART!

Grade 5/6 students are finishing off their Roy Lichtenstein inspired comic superheroes. Students were challenged to incorporate the primary colours into the artwork and then think how their selected character could impact the world in a positive way.
