Peer Teaching in 3/4A

This term, our students have been taking a deeper dive into supporting each other in their learning through what we call 'peer teaching' or 'practice partners'.

When we do this, we work with another student in our class to focus on an aspect of the curriculum that we've been learning. Then, we practice teaching each other about this!

Some of the things we have covered with our practice partners include: telling the time, reading with fluency, and constructing sentences using conjunctions.

Our students love peer teaching and really enjoy sharing their knowledge, experience and understanding with others to support them on their own learning journey.

It's also a great way for our teachers to see who was paying attention 😉
