5/6 Space Station

5/6 Space Station are taking part in GRAPPLE.  This is an inquiry-based project, completed in the classroom setting.  In taking part, students develop collaborative learning skills, the ability to carry out independent research and have the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge through creativity.

We have been using our "Bump It Up" wall to progress our reading skills.  Students set goals to work towards during reading time.  Well done 5/6S, we are motivated readers and learners!

We have been focusing on the correct use of paragraphs in our writing.  The burger method has helped us to organise our thoughts and ideas into cohesive texts.

This is one of the many wonderful stories we have used to explore topics such as, never giving up, self-care and respect and the ability to make good decisions.
