Top Designs Success

The Design Department are incredibly proud of our two Northcote High students, Ivy Hinkley Year 12 and Marielle Bouman (2021) as their Product Design (Fibre) final product and folios are currently part of the Top Designs – Season of Excellence at Melbourne Museum.

"Despite being in covid for most of my PDFT 3/4 experience it was still an incredible and memorable time. My ideas and curiosity were still encouraged and I was able to use them to get into Top designs 2022. The NHS design team was so important in the development of my ‘safety collection’ and wouldn’t have been so successful without their constant support and dedication. The selection process for top design was quite extensive and required handing in my folio and product along with an online questionnaire. Once selected it has been an extraordinary experience, visiting the exhibition in the Melbourne museum & seeing my work on display was so surreal. This exhibition is still available for the general public to see until July so go check it out!"
