Real Talk Australia will return to St Philomena's in the coming months to work with students in Year 4, 6, 7 and 9. Parent Sessions will be conducted via ZOOM and are highly recommended. Please find information below.

Bacon and Egg Rolls and Milo Mornings are Back!

Last Friday, we started out Winter Appeal. Students from K-10 enjoyed a bacon and egg roll and warm milo to start the day. Remember to pre-order your rolls by Wednesday 3pm.

Catholic EarthCare Youth Summit

Last Tuesday, our Secondary Student Leadership Council and some passionate students from Year 8, joined over 90 students from all over Australia for a Catholic EarthCare Youth Summit. Students shared successes and trials as well as ideas for a more sustainable future. They have made great plans for some small changes we can make at Phillies in the near future, beginning with 'flicking the switch' and starting small with general recycling in classrooms.

There are some bigger items on their agenda, including rainwater harvesting and use and strategic planting to entice pollinators into our school.
