GPA News (Galilee Parents Association)

First Official GPA meeting of 2019:

Thank you to all the new faces, James from the DOGS, and staff members, Danielle Gerecke and Carmen Carnovale, for coming along to our first official meeting for the year.  We covered a lot of ground, from details for events, beginning the Trivia Night Fundraiser, possibly hosting a Fun Run Fundraiser and the events the DOGS are organising.  It definitely takes a team of dedicated volunteers to make Galilee such a wonderful place.

Friday March 29th:

All Galilee Parents and Carers are invited to our parents only bare foot bowls evening!

We would love to see you all there!  See flyer for details.

Easter Raffle:

Early next week the Easter Raffle tickets will be sent home with each child.  This is a very exciting raffle for our children as they love the chance to win a prize of chocolates!  Last year there were over 30 prizes up for grabs!

Like in previous years, we are asking for donations of eggs and hampers/baskets for the raffle prizes.  These can be left at the school office.

Annual Fundraiser Trivia Night:

Save the Date for Saturday 27 July!  We have secured the Port Melbourne Town Hall and plans are already underway.  We are looking for people to be involved in the organising.  Please email the committee for a full list of role descriptions or to offer your support and expertise!
