Year 2 Emeralds - New Class Member.

Year 2 Emeralds welcomed a new member to their class. Stormy Coral Emeralds is an axolotl or Mexican walking fish. It likes to eat worms and is cared for by 2 student zoo keepers for 5 weeks at a time.

The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more place you'll go.

Shows - Year 2 Emeralds

Year 2 Emeralds theme for the past couple of weeks has been 'Shows'. This week they have researched and made their own sideshow alley game. They made prices, instructions and planned their prizes. Each group made a game, tested it and changed it to make sure that it worked. They invited the classes from Kindergarten - Year 4 to participate in their games. Each student was given three tickets for them to play. They won prizes and enjoyed their time. They had so much fun!

Year 2 Emeralds.

This week is Vegetable Appreciation Week! To celebrate Year 2 visited the schools commercial kitchen and made Vegie Monsters with Mrs Taylor and Mrs Uloth.  Mr Elbourne and Lucy Neary were our guest judges.   We had loads of fun creating our Vegie Monsters.
