Hohidiai

Thinking about taking a Gap Year?

Hohidiai is devoted to helping people physically and emotionally, especially the poor and marginalised.

They run a medical clinic, a school, provide accommodation for orphaned and abandoned children and rehabilitation for patients needing long-term medical care in North Maluku, Indonesia.

Hohidai's Cross Culture and Language Learning Trip

An immersive experience would be to stay for a year at Hohidai. Not only would this be a unique opportunity to help those in need but you will also learn and grow your own faith, experience the Indonesian culture, visit some beautiful places and meet some amazing people.

Whilst you are visiting you may be involved in:

  • Assisting with Children's Programs
  • Assisting with English Language at Base
  • Building, Electrical, Plumbing, sowing, Graphic design, handyman etc
  • Prayer and Counseling
  • Computer and technical skills
  • Music and Worship and much more

This 12 month Visa requires you to study two by six week courses throughout your stay, in which you will study the Indonesian language.

If a year is too long the 5 month stay may be better for you, this requires a cultural visa requiring no study.
