Creativity takes courage. Henri Matisse
Hello RHPS Artists,
I cannot believe that is it Term 4 already. I hope you all had some Zoom free time over the holidays and made some wonderful art as well.
It was fantastic to see the Grade 3-6 students on our art Zoom last week. Everyone has grown so much and I can't wait to have you all back in the art room soon. The art room has changed a little and is now brighter and lighter, and ready for students to bring back the fun, mess and joy!
As I have the senior students this term, I will make time for our junior students to come and complete their beautiful clay pieces, so they can go home before Christmas.
It's going to be a busy term ahead with the Grade 6s creating their Legacy art pieces, Grade 5/6 will be making their clay Bobble Head Characters, Grade 3/4 will be sewing Zenkidu Cushion Characters and then we will all get into the Christmas spirit, with some super fun Christmas art to finish off the year!!
Fun times ahead and until I see you in person, I will see you on Zoom!!!
Here are a few examples of the art from last weeks Zoom, where you were able to create your own art! We had so many different types of art, nature art, photography, iPad art, drawing and more. Great work everyone!
Our Grade 3-6 Zoom was very successful this week, as we learnt about the Hubble Space Telescope and drew our own telescopes, concentrating on line, shape and shading. The artwork was AMAZING. Here are few of the wonderful pieces of art.
