Grade 1/2

Grade 1 and 2's had so much fun participating in some hands on maths activities last week! We made fairy bread and practised cutting it into halves, quarters or eighths. We also made some wonderful fraction posters!

Students have also reflected on their remote learning journey and wrote down things they were proud of. We have been talking about positive thinking and a growth mindset as we get back into the swing of working onsite. 

1O learnt a new Maths game called "The Sum Game". It involved practising their addition skills and problem solving to get 4 counters in a row to win the game!
