Remote Learning Foundation (Prep)

I know we said it last week, but it really is great to be back in the classroom. 

The Prep students have focused on narratives this week and are concentrating on including a beginning, middle and end in their stories. We also focused on writing the letter Rr correctly during handwriting lessons.

In Maths, we have been practising using a variety of strategies to solve addition problems and have revisited 'Doubles'.

A highlight this week has been delving into our Inquiry unit, 'Looking After Our World'. This week we focused on recycling and discussed which types of materials can be recycled, what the recycling symbol looks like and which bin we should use to recycle at home. Students each brought in a plastic bottle from home and we had fun making recycled rockets.
