What is the Backyard Bee Census?

By Stopping to look up, down and by being still in nature, we can find calm

CERES is promoting the Backyard Bee Census with nature in mind on November 13th. Whether you live on a hundred hectares, or live in an apartment and spend time in a nearby park, the Census is a reminder that nature is always nearby.

The Census forms part of a wider collection of data for Wild Pollinator Count, helping scientists understand the health of one of the most important links in our ecosystem.

The response to Letters of Love for the Elderly

WHAT A RESPONSE!

When Mrs Te set this task on Seesaw she knew that many children would complete it but she had no idea that mums and siblings would join in too! The response to Letters of Love for the Elderly was overwhelming yet not surprising for the wonderful QoP children and community!

Thank you to everyone who drew a picture or wrote a letter! Many residents in the nursing home in our local area were just as touched as Mrs Te was when she checked her Seesaw responses.

Letters were dropped off at Allanvale Private, Port Phillip Village, Benetas St George and Estia Health Nursing and Retirement Homes.

Here are some photos of children from QoP delivering the envelopes and the residents receiving them.
