A message from the Student Wellbeing Team

End of year message from the Student Wellbeing Team

For the second time, we come to the end of a year marked by the challenges of keeping safe due to COVID 19 protocols. Whilst fair to say that in some ways, we were perhaps more prepared for remote learning and lockdown protocols this year, “lockdown fatigue” was for some, a reality that required ongoing resilience to manage.

Overall, with the continued support of their families, carers, teachers and friends, our students continued to demonstrate a resilient mindset and maintain their commitment to aspiring to achieve; working to their full potential, seeking assistance when required, and engaging in class activities.

We have provided a link below to some information from Headspace about tips to support young people over the forthcoming holiday period. We also invite parents and carers to review nine suggested tips for supporting you to look after yourselves and your young people. We recommend also, some tips to Look after yourselves – lots of self care (we like tip number 6: Skip, Jump, Hop, and Get Silly).
