Parent-School Partnership Framework CEDoW
Parent-School Partnership Framework CEDoW

Dear Parents and Carers,

This week, I am pleased to share with you the upcoming opportunities for you to actively engage with the school to support your child/ren's learning and wellbeing.

Meet and Greets

During Week 4 and 5, our beginning of year Meet and Greets with parents and teachers will be held. I invite you to meet your child's teacher/s and participate in this opportunity to share relevant information about your child/ren.

ACTION:

Parents/carers of students in Year 1 to Year 6 are able to book an appointment via School Interviews. Appointments are now open.

Please note that all meetings will be held via Zoom or phone due to the current restrictions on parents being in the school.

The code to book your child/ren's meet and greet is fyu7e and is now open.

Kindergarten Meet and Greets will be held in Week 6 and 7 and information on how to book will be provided soon.

Grade Curriculum Notes

The Grade Curriculum Notes will be provided to parents early next week.

Grade Curriculum Q&A Parent Zoom

This year teachers will also be hosting a Grade Curriculum Q&A Parent Zoom to complement the Grade Curriculum notes. This meeting will provide you as parents and carers an opportunity to better understand the content of the Term's learning for your child and to have answered any questions you may have.

ACTION:

It is recommended that you read the Grade Curriculum Notes before attending the Zoom.

To access the meeting click on the Zoom link below for your child's grade.

Opportunities to meet informally

We encourage your active engagement with the school to support your child's learning and wellbeing. While the Meet and Greets and the Grade Curriculum Q&A Parent Zoom are two of our formal opportunities to share information about your child's learning and wellbeing, you are always welcome to arrange with the school office an informal meeting or phone call with your child's teacher throughout the year. Sometimes you might just want to touch base with a teacher to see how your child is going and how you can support learning. Please be assured that teachers will always be in touch with you if they have a concern.

For all things at St Joseph's, give thanks!
