STRONG MINDS,
GENTLE HEARTS

We have had a busy term with camps, the Cerise and Blue Open Night, sport, excursions, Parents-in-Touch evening, and other worthwhile events. And, as you read this newsletter, your sons will have completed their main assessment tasks for the term following a busy couple of weeks. Over the break, please discuss with them the assessments they have completed and the goals they will set to assist with improving their results next term. The goal setting and reviewing process can be found on page 100-101 of the student diary.
Classes resume for Term 4 on Wednesday 5 October. Preparation for the new term should include haircuts and a check on uniform and shoes. Please refer to page 11 of the student diary for guidelines on appropriate haircuts. It is important that we get these small things right so that we can focus on the bigger things. Boys attending parent-teacher-student interviews on Tuesday 4 October must be in full college uniform.
As our youth spend more time online, it does not mean that they should have free rein. Dr Kristy Goodwin presented to our parents and students last week about young people and the digital world. Please take the time to view her presentation via the links elsewhere in this newsletter.
I wish all our families an enjoyable and safe holiday, and I look forward to seeing our boys return, re-energised and ready for Term 4.
