M.I.T.S. Information Session (Melbourne Indigenous Transition School)
Attention Parents of Year 6 Koorie Students. Patrick Bowden will be holding an information session about M.I.T.S for current Year 6 Koorie students.
When: Monday 21 February @ 11.30am
Where: BER (Year5/6 Building)
Parents of Year 6 students are encouraged to attend.

New Flags
Two new flags have been flown at the front of the school for the start of 2022.
In the photo we have Junior School Council and Koorie Leader representatives.

CSEF (Camps, Sports, Excursions Fund)
The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) provides payments for eligible students to attend activities like:
- school camps or trips
- swimming and school-organised sport programs
- outdoor education programs
- excursions and incursions
Families holding a valid means-tested concession card or temporary foster parents are eligible to apply. Your card will need to be valid from the 31 January 2022. Payment amounts for 2022 are $125 per eligible student.
If you have previously applied at Warrnambool PS, then there is no need to re-apply.
If you are new to the school, or your circumstances have changed, please see the office to complete an application form.
Updating Personal Details
Please inform the office of any changes to your personal details, including phone numbers, address, emergency contacts etc. Changes can be made through Compass or through the school office.
Uniform shop hours
The school uniform shop is open Tuesdays 8.30am-9.30am, and Thursdays 3pm-4pm. Alternatively you are welcome to complete a uniform order form and drop it off at the office. We will then complete the order and send home with the student.
First Aid
No Nuts
As the school has a number of anaphylacticstudents, parents are reminded not to send any products containing Nuts.
Medical conditions
If your child's medical details have recently changed, please contact Gaye in the sick bay. It is important that the school has up to date information, including any required medications available at school.
Asthma Plan
Please ensure the school has an up to date copy of your child's Asthma Action Plan. If you have any queries, please contact Gaye in the sick bay.
Sunscreen
Sunscreen is provided for all students, with a bottle available for use in each classroom. If your child prefers their own sunscreen, please ensure they bring this each day, and their name is clearly labelled.
Hats
A reminder that hats are required every day during Terms 1 & 4. Students are not permitted to play outside if they don't have a hat. Hats can be purchased through the uniform shop for $16.
Lost Glasses
There are several glasses in the school office without names. If these belong to you please come and collect.
