International Women's Week

JMSS celebrated International Women's Day (IWD) over the week from 7-11 March.

Congratulations to all the students and staff who managed a week of activities and a full assembly with guest speaker Kat George, who delivered an incredible speech that was inspirational. 

We look forward to celebrating it even bigger and better next year. 

Here are some of the highlights:-

Wellbeing Wall

Every year the Wellbeing team ask the new Year 10's - 'How can JMSS support you?"

The students are then given coloured notes to make this great creative board of all the different ways we can support them on their journey!

Its a great reminder that we all need supporting in different ways and in different facets of life!

Movie Nights

The annual movie nights are always a highlight with the students.  A fun night, creates bonding so early in the school year! 

Thanks to the student team and Ms Campbell  for organising.

Senior Tennis

Senior Inter School Girls Tennis are in top form this year. Our A and B teams made the final and the A team won their game! Congratulations team!

Wellbeing Event

Headspace - Syndal and Monash Youth Services representatives will be at the school in the Void at Lunchtime on 06/04/22.  This will be an opportunity to ask questions and find out about resources / programs that are available for youth in the local school community.

ESV - Micro-Courses

Meet Jade and Stuti - our Micro Courses teachers.

We are offering short courses online to students from across the state, around various subjects via our ESV studio.

This term we are delivering Intro to Immunology & Vaccines 

The subject will dive deep into the complexities of the human immune system to transform the way we treat and prevent disease. Students will gain an appreciation of the immune system. This course will assist students greatly especially if they are interested in the field of biology.
