This Saturday, the Shell Questacon Science Circus is coming to town ...
Spin yourself until you’re dizzy, compare your reflexes to a Formula 1 driver and see your fingertips under the microscope with the Shell Questacon Science Circus.
The St Joseph's College Stadium - Mercy Campus will be overflowing with exciting hands-on science exhibits when the Science Circus and their colourful semi-trailer roll into town for a public exhibition of their ‘pop-up’ science centre.
Visitors of all ages can enjoy over 40 interactive science exhibits and watch spectacular science shows as Science Circus presenters hold fire in their hands, lie on a bed of nails and levitate beach balls.
When: 10.00 am to 3.00 pm, Saturday 2 September, 2017

Woolworths Earn & Learn Promotion continues ...
The Earn & Learn Promotion is halfway through and we have raised just over 1,000 points for our school. We have until Tuesday, 19th September to collect as many points as we can so we can exchange them for resources for our school. In addition, Woolworths is looking for inspiring schools across the country. Parents, students and staff may enter a nomination for the inaugural Woolworths Inspiring Schools Awards, and have a say about what makes our school inspiring.
The 2017 Woolworths Inspiring Schools Awards National Winner will receive:
- $10,000 towards creating an inspiring learning space for students
- 1,000 bonus Earn & Learn stickers
- $2,000 worth of groceries for the school
Seven other lucky schools or early learning centres across each state and territory will also stand a chance to be awarded $3,000 to provide further resources for their school or centre.
