Swimming Selections

Congratulations to Kate, Akira, Arya, Jett and Mikayla  who have been chosen to represent the SAPSASA district (Salisbury East) for the upcoming Metro swimming carnival.

GS Cricket

Due to the public holiday and long weekend, there was no scheduled cricket.  Instead, the players made the most of the weekend spending time with family with several going away.

This coming weekend the Good Shepherd Smashers are back on the field playing St Pauls Lutheran College at Gepps Cross in a local derby.

U10 GS Rockets

Another fantastic night for the Good Shepherd Rockets this week.

With lots of encouragement from all team mates, we played well together as a team against the St Davids Pumas.

Well done to Divan, Ashrith and Harry who dominated in our goal areas and made sure every ball reached the basket.

Awesome work from all players to bring the ball down effectively and making sure we walked away with a fantastic win!

You should all be very proud of yourselves.  Thank you to all the parents who support our games every week.  We appreciate your support.

Scorers:  Divan (14 pts);  Ashrith (12 pts);  Hudson (5pts)

and Harry (10 pts)

U11 GS Lightning Bolts

The Lightning Bolts came away with a tight win last Friday 12 to 9 over OLOH Stars.

It was great to see the girls settling into their positions particularly in attack with Acacia and Mikayla working well together in goals, supported by Indie, Lucy and Zahli  in the centre and wing attack positions.

Special mention to Mikayla who scored her first 2 goals of the season. Keep working on getting in front and calling for the ball.

Keep up the good work!
