END-OF-YEAR ACTIVITIES

After much discussion we have decided to draw back our end-of-year activities program from 4 days to 2 days due to a lack of take-up by students particularly for local school-based activities. So normal classes for Years 7, 8 and 9 will run right up to Friday, 14th December. Then activities will take place on Monday, 17th and Tuesday, 18th December. On the Monday, students will be offered trips to Melbourne to Funfield, the Ice Skating rink and DFO, South Wharf along with a trip to our local Fun Planet and Go Jump. There will also be some other local-based activities on offer. Then on the Tuesday, all students will be encouraged to participate in a trip to the Violet Town pool. On Wednesday, 29th August (next week) assemblies will be held for Year 7, 8 and 9 students where detailed information will be handed out including application forms for these activities.
