Year 10 subject selection information

On 19 June the final subject selection is due. See below a document listing the Year 10 Subject Selection Information Guidelines to the majority of courses at a number of TAFE colleges and all universities. The list is by no means complete but is certainly a useful guide.

For comprehensive guidelines please visit this link http://www.vtac.edu.au/files/pdf/publications/prerequisites-2020.pdf from July 2017 onwards.

The Maths Question | prerequisites and subject bonuses explained

This question comes up a lot so I found the document below, developed by VTAC, that gives us some of the answers:

  • A prerequisite is a subject you MUST study to qualify for a course.
  • A subject bonus is a subject that MAY gain you additional ATAR points in certain courses.
  • A minimum score - all Bachelor Degree courses require English/EAL and a minimum score is listed.
  • Any Maths, Maths Methods and Specialist Maths explained.

Have a look through the attached table for more information.
