Prayer

Dear God,

May you look over my family. Give them strength to keep going through challenges.

May my family be protected from harm, misfortune and sadness.

May we enjoy each other's company together and always be happy with one another.

May we always protect one another,

May we have good health.

Be happy,

Be positive,

Most importantly,

Love one another.

Amen.

Dear Lord and Father of all, we pause and thank you for this day. For the challenges, the emotions, the struggles. For in all of this, we grow closer to you. We ask that in the darkness, we see your light, and through our fear, we feel your strength. We remember that today as in days before, we have lived, and we have survived. When we’ve wanted to run, we’ve stayed. When we’ve wanted to hide, we’ve faced that day. Jesus, during your ministry on earth, you showed your power and caring by healing people of all ages. You came down from heaven to relate to our suffering, our pain, our fears, and our doubts. Be present now to the people who need your loving touch in isolation. Holy God, through my mask you see us, and you hear us. You are our comforter and our strength. Nourish us in this time of need, and inspire us to make an act of solidarity, kindness, and generosity, so that we may come out resilient. Send fleets of angels to fight against those spirits of depression, and to silence the stress and persevere through the anxiety. We see you God, and you see us. May you help us to be our loved one's serenity, and drive us to be one another’s comfort during such an awakening time, and rebuild of our world. Lord hear us,

Response: Loving God, hear our prayer.
