Inquiry Learning

At Holy Family School, we believe that students are powerful learners. They must be actively engaged in the inquiry process of investigating, processing, organising, synthesising, refining, extending and acting on their knowledge within a concept. Learning in Inquiry is a collaborative process, involving higher-order thinking, in which teachers and students negotiate aspects of the curriculum. Inquiry encourages learners to examine the complexity of their world, form concepts and generalisations rather than being provided with information.
