Newsletter and Reflection

The newsletter this week speaks about the council election this year. For us two parishioners are standing for council election. Giorgio Migliaccio for Springvale South and Eden Foster for Yarraman. Please keep them in your prayer. We wish them all the best. You can read the newsletter here. The same is attached. The reflection for this weekend is in the newsletter.

This year is very difficult for all of us. We want to pray for our VCE students as they prepare to sit for exams.  Please click here and fill the form if you have a VCE student in your family.

We are also collecting the names for Remembrance book. This book will be displayed in a prominent place at the altar during Mass for the month of November. Please click here to fill the form.

You will also see this on our website. Alternatively you can email the parish also.

I joined at the beginning to see how it’s done, and I was amazed at how much kids can do and learn on screen in front of them.

Upcoming events

Carnival, our carnival group had a meeting on 1st of October. We discussed about, why we do this, when and how?

Very good ideas came from the team, like, onsite/ virtual tour of our new church, share a plate, deliver food, and so on… ending with carols. Whatever we do on site will be live streamed on parish YouTube channel. We are also conscious of the restrictions and limitations due to Covid -19. These are ideas only.

Now we want to know what you think, do you have any ideas? Do you want to join carnival team?

Speak to Susan on 0497 478 662 or email your ideas stanthonyspevents@gmail.com

Remembrance day Mass, With pandemic we will not be able to join for Remembrance Mass, but there will be some form of memorial liturgy around the normal time. We are working on it.
