Student Parliament
Science, Maths and Technology subcommittee
This term the Science, Maths and Technology subcommittee hosted a JMSS version of ‘The Chase’ game show. We had a total of eight teams with four students in each sign up; three teams from Year 12, one team from Year 11 and four teams from Year 10.
Each team went up against our four ‘Chasers’- Mr Bohni (Maths), Mr McTier (Biology), Mr Senn-Sanger (Chemistry) and Mr Gavrilescu (Physics) in an attempt to mentally outrun them and gain the highest score by answering science and maths based questions which varied in difficulty. After every team was put through their paces two year 12 teams, The True VIPB and Big Brothers, came out on top earning a total of 79 points each.
The event was a great success and we thank everyone who participated during the week and was present to support their fellow peers. The Science, Maths and Technology committee hopes to continue holding more enjoyable competitions and events in the future.

Sports and Recreation subcommittee
We have been working avidly to develop relations between students and teachers using sport. Events such as "Classic catches" at the Swimming Carnival saw teachers and students jump into the pool for the perfect and most entertaining catch.
At present, the futsal competition has been running and we are looking forward to some competitive and enjoyable games.
