Parent/Teacher/3 Way Conferences

Parents and guardians are invited to attend the 3 Way Conferences to be conducted on Thursday 15 September.

These conferences will give parents and guardians the opportunity to discuss their child's progress with their teachers and to devise strategies for improvement.

Please note all students are expected to attend the interviews with their parent/guardian. 

Bookings are made on Compass and will commence on Monday 5 September (in the afternoon) and will close at 4pm on Wednesday 14 September. 

The session times are:

• 8.30 am - 10.30 am
• 11.00 am -  1.00pm
• 2.00 pm -  5.00 pm
• 6.00 pm -  8.00 pm

VCE Interim Reports 3 Way Conferences

Parents, guardians and students are advised that VCE Interim Reports will be available through Compass shortly.

These reports will reflect the Satisfactory and Non Satisfactory (S and N) criteria as previously outlined, that is:

• satisfactory attendance
• engagement in class
• workbook/class notes up to date
• homework tasks complete
• practice SAC’s/tasks complete

If your child has received an ‘N’ in any subject for any of the above criteria, then we strongly advise that you make an appointment with your child’s teacher at the upcoming 3 Way Conferences to be held on Thursday 15 September. This is an opportune time for students, teachers and parents to discuss any particular concerns with your child’s progress, thus giving students ample time to work towards rectifying any issues before the end of the school year.

Of course, all parents and guardians are more than welcome and indeed, encouraged to make an appointment to see their child’s teachers on 15 September to discuss progress to ensure all our students reach their potential.

Year 12 students

Year 12 VCE students are entering the final weeks of their secondary schooling. Whilst this is an exciting time it is also time for students to make sure they are actively engaging in revision activities, completing practice exams and attending exam preparation sessions.

With the September break fast approaching it is imperative students remain focussed on their studies and take advantage of the many extra classes that their teachers will run over the break. Stay tuned for a timetable!
