Year 12 Unit 4 PE Training Program
Students across the four Year 12 PE classes are currently completing their fitness re-testing, after completing their 6 week training program.
As a part of the outcome for Unit 4 AOS 1, students must complete a games analysis followed by fitness testing. They then complete a 6 week training program before completing the fitness testing again to see if they have made any improvements.
The tests that they completed included the Yo-Yo test, the Vertical Jump test, 1RM Bench Press and the 20m Sprint test.

Girls Basketball
On Friday 19 August, four Year 7 Girls Basketball teams ventured to the State Basketball Centre to compete in the Yarra Division competition.
Lilydale had two teams competing in the A division and two in the B division.
All girls competed very well over the day playing with 'Great Spirit', sportsmanship and skill.
In the B division, one team went through the day undefeated to finish first. The second team only recorded one loss on the day against the other Lilydale team to finish second.
In the A division, the second team competed well but unfortunately could not get a win. The first team played with great skill all day to win all their games comfortably and in doing so, will progress onto the region level of competition in Term 4.
Fantastic effort by all the girls involved.
